Job Description:

Blazer Jobs is seeking a licensed and experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a dynamic and supportive school team in Aurora, Colorado. This full-time, onsite role involves serving a diverse caseload of K12 students with a range of developmental, motor, and sensory needs. The OT will work in collaboration with teachers, specialists, and families to ensure students receive services that support their access to and engagement in the school curriculum.

This role is perfect for an OT who values both clinical impact and educational inclusion, and who thrives in a team-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to determine students OT service needs

  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals in accordance with district and state guidelines

  • Provide direct and consultative OT services in classrooms and therapy settings

  • Address areas including fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, and daily living skills

  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and related service providers to support inclusive practices

  • Educate staff and families on strategies and tools to help students access their education

  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress reports

Minimum Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

  • Active Colorado OT license (or eligibility to obtain)

  • NBCOT certification

  • Experience in pediatric or school-based OT preferred

  • Strong understanding of IDEA and IEP documentation requirements

  • Ability to pass all required background checks and fingerprinting
