Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Payrate: $23 per hour
Shift: 7:00am – 4:00pm, Monday – Friday
Location: Seattle, WA (Ballard/Fremont Area)
Job Description
We are seeking an entry-level Warehouse Worker to join a family-owned plumbing distribution company. This is a great opportunity for someone who is motivated to learn, grow with the company, and build a long-term career. No prior warehouse experience is preferred, as training will be provided. In this role, you will process work orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment where priorities can change hour by hour. The position involves light computer work, order picking, and operating warehouse equipment.
Responsibilities
- Process distribution work orders accurately throughout the day
- Perform hour-to-hour order processing and adapt to changing priorities
- Pick orders using an RF scanner
- Utilize shipping and inventory systems (training provided)
- Operate stand-up or sit-down forklifts to move product as needed (training provided)
- Handle, organize, and stage materials in warehouse locations
- Work independently while supporting a small warehouse team
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and leadership
Essential Skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where orders change frequently
- Ability to pick orders accurately and efficiently
- Willingness to use RF scanners and warehouse systems
- Basic computer skills for data entry and system navigation
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
Additional Skills & Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Forklift experience (stand-up or sit-down), or willingness to be trained
- Previous warehouse or distribution exposure (not required)
- Strong work ethic and positive, team-oriented attitude
- Interest in long-term growth and learning warehouse operations

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
