Job Title: Production Associate
Job Description
Join our team as a Production Helper, where you will be involved in material handling and machine operation. Your role will include packaging and labeling finished products, preparing them for shipping, and assisting with the setup and operation of automated production machinery. This machinery is used for applying weatherizing solutions to large paper rolls for construction purposes. Additional responsibilities include shop cleanup, general shop help, and operating a forklift to move materials.
Responsibilities
- Handle materials and operate machines efficiently.
- Package and label finished products for shipping.
- Assist in setting up and operating automated production machinery.
- Perform shop cleanup and general shop maintenance.
- Operate forklifts to move materials.
- Adapt to a rotating shift schedule every 8 weeks.
Essential Skills
- Experience with forklift operation.
- Proficiency in machine operation within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work in an industrial setting.
- Familiarity with general labor and materials handling.
- Competence with hand and power tools.
- Understanding of warehouse distribution processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Preferred experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
- Prior forklift operation experience is highly preferred.
- Must be willing to work in industrial conditions and adapt to different shifts.

Work Environment
Work in an industrial manufacturing setting with heavy machinery. Safety is a priority, and personal protective equipment such as safety shoes, hard hats, earplugs, and safety glasses is required. The work schedule rotates every 8 weeks through day, swing, and night shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of PORTLAND, OR.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.80 - $24.80/hr.
