Position Summary
The Production Worker is responsible for performing manufacturing tasks according to company safety, quality, and efficiency standards. This role inspects materials, assembles components, operates production equipment, and helps maintain a clean and safe work environment. The Production Worker plays an essential part in meeting daily production targets and ensuring customers receive high-quality products.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Production & Operations
- Operate production machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Complete assigned production tasks within designated timelines.
- Inspect materials and finished products for defects, damage, or quality issues.
- Assemble components following work instructions and SOPs.
- Report defective products, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
- Transfer materials, parts, or equipment manually as needed (up to 60 lbs).
Safety & Quality
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and 6-S-compliant work area.
- Adhere to quality standards to ensure consistent and accurate production output.
- Participate in safety meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Teamwork & Communication
- Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and support departments.
- Communicate production issues clearly and promptly.
- Support other tasks or departments as needed to meet production demands.
Qualifications
· Previous experience as a production worker or in a manufacturing/warehouse environment preferred.
· Basic understanding of how production equipment works.
· Knowledge of standard safety procedures and hazard-prevention practices.
· Ability to lift, carry, and transfer materials up to 60 lbs.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
· Good communication and teamwork skills.
· English/Spanish bilingual preferred.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements
· Manufacturing floor environment with exposure to noise, machinery, dust, and variable temperatures.
· Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 60 pounds.
· Required use of PPE (safety glasses, gloves, etc.) in designated areas.
· May require overtime or weekend work to meet production needs.
