Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
We are seeking an experienced Interim Director of Pharmacy (DOP) for a long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital located in the San Francisco Bay Area. This is a full-time, temporary leadership opportunity at a busy, standalone facility with approximately 120 beds and a current census of around 65 patients per day.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide oversight of all pharmacy operations, including staffing, pliance, inventory, and clinical initiatives

Ensure adherence to hospital policies, state/federal regulations, and accreditation standards

Collaborate with hospital leadership and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care

Supervise and support pharmacists and technicians in a high-acuity inpatient environment

Maintain proper documentation, reporting, and regulatory pliance across all pharmacy activities
Requirements:

Active and unrestricted California Pharmacist License

Significant inpatient pharmacy management experience (Director-level or similar)

Proven leadership skills in hospital pharmacy settings

Ability to start promptly and mit to full-time interim coverage
