Addison Group is partnering with a dynamic and fast-paced organization to help them identify a Benefits Associate with a strong background in Leave of Absence (LOA) administration. This role offers a unique opportunity to support a high-volume, national benefits program while working in a collaborative and customer-focused environment.
Job Description:
The Benefits Associate will be responsible for administering employee benefits programs and managing the leave of absence process. This position plays a key role in providing support to employees and HR teams, ensuring compliance, and resolving benefit-related issues in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for questions related to employee benefits, including 401(k), pension plans, and voluntary offerings.
- Manage the full lifecycle of leave of absence cases, including employee inquiries, tracking, and coordination with Payroll.
- Partner with insurance carriers to troubleshoot and resolve employee or dependent coverage issues.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation within the global HRIS platform.
- Assist with open enrollment activities, including employee communications and virtual/in-person meetings.
- Stay current on benefit regulations and compliance, including HIPAA and federal/state leave policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service and timely responses to all benefit-related inquiries.
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of experience in benefits administration, with a focus on leave of absence (LOA) processes.
- Familiarity with high-volume work environments (supporting 25,000+ employees preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Proficiency in benefits administration tools, ideally Bswift or similar platforms.
