Sable Corporation is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a travel job in Miles City, Montana.

Radiation Therapist Responsibilities:
- Administers ionizing radiation for therapeutic purposes based on the Radiation Oncologist’s prescription.
- Performs patient simulation to prepare for radiation therapy, including basic patient care and education.
Key Duties:
- Check prescription, diagnosis, chart, and patient identification.
- Explain procedures to patients and reinforce instructions from oncologists and nurses regarding treatment reactions and care.
- Prepare treatment room and equipment, including immobilization devices, blocks, and field sizes. Assist with patient transfers as needed.
- Verify treatment MUs (monitor units) and beam energy, noting prescribed adjustments in the treatment chart.
- Document all relevant details: treatment MUs, cumulative dose, site-specific doses, parameters, instructions, diagrams, photos, and billing information.
- Perform treatment simulations, including cerrobend block fabrication. Develop and file x-rays and port films.
- Monitor patients for unusual reactions or events during treatment.
Operational Support:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the unit.
- Ensure appropriate stock levels of supplies.
- Complete daily, progress, and discharge documentation per departmental standards.
- Accurately record productivity information.
Quality, Safety, and Compliance:
- Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives.
- Identify and address process improvements to enhance patient satisfaction and safety.
- Report safety hazards and escalate non-routine issues to management or healthcare providers.
- Document patient plans of care, test results, and examination outcomes as directed.
General Expectations:

Education:\nGraduation from an accredited radiation therapy program.\n\nCertifications & Licensure:\nCurrent state license (if applicable).\nBLS – American Heart Association.\nARRT certification.\n\nRT(T) certification in radiation therapy.\n\nPer manager: If an applicant does not have ARRT registration in Radiography, a Montana rad tech license is not required.
