We’re looking for a skilled Torch Cutter to join our team in a fast-paced metal processing yard. In this role, you’ll use oxy‑propane cutting equipment, operate heavy machinery, and support yard operations while working in an active, team-driven environment.

What You’ll Do
As a Torch Cutter, you’ll play a key role in processing and preparing metal materials:
- Operate an oxy‑propane torch to cut and prepare metal to required specifications
- Measure and inspect metals to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance
- Sort, stage, and move materials throughout the yard
- Operate heavy equipment such as skid steers, front loaders, and CAT machinery (training available)
- Identify and handle different types of metals safely and correctly
- Use shop math to measure, mark, and verify material dimensions
- Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and coordinate repairs as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and properly use protective equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions while supporting yard operations
What You Bring
- Experience using an oxy‑propane torch or similar cutting tools
- Experience in metal processing, scrap yard, or industrial environments
- Experience operating heavy equipment (skid steers, loaders, etc.)
- Ability to identify and differentiate various types of metals
- Strong shop math skills for accurate measuring and cutting
- Physical stamina for demanding, hands-on work
- Ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
- Commitment to safety and attention to detail
- Comfort working outdoors in a fast-paced environment
Bonus Experience (Nice to Have)
- Sheet metal or scrap metal handling experience
- Willingness to learn additional equipment and skills
- Strong teamwork and communication skills

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
