This opportunity is for an Inpatient Hospital Pharmacist role based in McClave, CO, offering a 30-hour workweek with shifts primarily from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. This travel position suits a pharmacy professional experienced in hospital inpatient settings who is ready to provide essential pharmaceutical services and leadership within a healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee pharmacy operations to ensure smooth and effective medication management
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support their professional development
- Perform IV compounding following USP <797> and <800> standards
- Ensure compliance with all hospital and regulatory requirements related to pharmacy services
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an inpatient hospital pharmacist is required
- Proficient in IV compounding techniques, including sterile preparation standards (USP <797> and <800>)
- Current, valid Colorado pharmacist license
- Clean background with no DUIs or other disqualifying issues
