The CannaBuddy™ Micro-Dispensary Manager & Event Planner will lead operations at our permanent pop-up location at Ames Street Marketplace. This role combines retail management with event planning and brand promotion. You’ll manage a small team, run daily dispensary operations, and coordinate local pop-ups and brand activations in the Charlotte Metro area. This is a full-time role with weekend hours expected.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Dispensary Operations

Oversee daily retail operations at Ames Street Marketplace.

Open and close the location, manage cash handling, and run point-of-sale using Lightspeed.

Deliver high-quality customer consultations and product education.

Ensure the dispensary space is clean, organized, and visually appealing.

Assist with product displays and some visual merchandising.
Event Planning & Execution

Plan and execute 3–4 events per month, including pop-ups and brand activations.

Coordinate logistics and staffing.

Work events as needed to ensure successful execution.

Represent CannaBuddy with professionalism at all public-facing events.
Customer Experience

Build rapport with regulars and new guests.

Deliver a consistent and welcoming experience.

Provide tailored product recommendations.
Inventory & Merchandising

Assist with receiving and stocking product.

Maintain accurate inventory and communicate restock needs.
Team Management

Supervise a team of 2–3 staff members.

Set daily priorities, assist with training, and maintain team morale.
Minimum Qualifications

1–5 years of experience in event planning, pop-up retail, or cannabis sales.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to lead a small team with confidence.

Clear communication and a customer-first mindset.

Familiarity with POS systems (Lightspeed preferred).

Must be 21+ to apply.

Available to work weekends and evenings.
Compensation & Benefits

$38,000 annual salary

Standing or walking for long periods.

Lifting up to 40 lbs regularly.
