Human Resource Assistant
The Human Resources Assistant will play an essential role in the coordination and functioning of LUK’s Human Resources Department. The HR Assistant will work under the direction of the Director of Human Resources. This role will be responsible for coordinating and organizing a variety of administrative functions within the various programs in the Agency. Additionally, the HR Assistant will assist the Director in the coordination and development of Human Resources related policies within the Agency.
A qualified candidate will have an Associates Degree in business, computers, or related field preferred, or two to three years office experience preferably in a non-profit environment may be substituted. Human Resources Information System experience preferred. Strong computer, phone, and organizational skills required. Bilingual/bicultural candidates are encouraged to apply.

Purpose:
The HR Assistant will be responsible for coordinating and organizing a variety of administrative functions within the various programs in the Agency. In addition, this role will assist the Director in the coordination and development of Human Resource related policies within the Agency.
Responsibilities Include:
- Support the Director in the daily Human Resource functions and activities.
- Maintain systems necessary for efficient organization and retrieval of documents, reports and databases.
- Will navigate Human Resources Information System.
- Design or modify forms, reports, and other applicable material.
- Assist various programs/departments with daily office functions (i.e. data entry, filing, faxing, copying)
- Participate in the recruitment, referrals and selection of staff.
- Work in partnership with various agency staff/components to offer administrative support or assistance with projects.
- Others duties as assigned.
