Job Details:
\n
• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
\n• Labor and Delivery unit with 19 patient rooms, 6 PACU rooms, 6 triage rooms, and 3 L&D operating rooms
\n• Patient ratios of 2:1, or 1:1 with complicated patients (estimated, never guaranteed)
\n• Day shift staffing matrix includes 1 charge nurse and multiple RNs
\n• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital Labor and Delivery experience required
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN or EFM
\n• Experience with fetal heart rate monitors including Novii and GE systems required
\n• Experience with fetal scalp electrodes (FSE) required
\n• EMR systems used: CPN and Meditech
\n• Perform vaginal deliveries and C-section deliveries
\n• Responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care for labor and delivery patients, postpartum patients, and high-risk antepartum patients
\n• Deliver care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
\n• Mom/Baby, Pediatrics, and/or NICU experience preferred
\n• Must be flexible, friendly, and dependable
