Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Local schools are in need of Substitute Personal Care Assistants to provide individualized student support during classroom instruction and throughout the school day. PCAs help ensure students with disabilities can access education, remain safe, and succeed in school routines.

Assignments are flexible and vary by student and setting, providing valuable experience for those pursuing careers in education, therapy, or healthcare.

Qualifications:

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Background in childcare, education, or healthcare a plus
Capable of lifting and providing physical support
Ability to follow routines, individualized plans, and directions
PA clearances required prior to assignment

Responsibilities:

Assist with mobility, toileting, feeding, or medical needs as instructed
Promote independence while supporting classroom engagement
Maintain documentation and communicate student progress or concerns
Encourage appropriate social behavior and classroom participation
Support students with transitions between classes or activities
Ensure safety and dignity of the student at all times
