Salary Range: $78,000 - $118,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for raw materials, components, and MRO supplies.
Negotiate favorable pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to achieve cost savings and optimize value.
Manage and cultivate strong relationships with key suppliers, evaluating performance and driving continuous improvement.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure material availability and quality standards are met.
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring continuity of supply for critical manufacturing operations.
Oversee inventory levels to optimize working capital and minimize obsolescence while supporting production needs.
Lead, mentor, and develop the purchasing team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.

Recommended Qualifications

5+ years of progressive purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor relationship management.
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory control, and quality assurance standards.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
Experience with advanced analytics tools for spend analysis and forecasting.
Fluency in a second language relevant to international supplier base.
Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or equivalent professional certification.
