As the first point of contact in our mental health setting, you'll manage the patient flow, administrative backbone, and initial clinical steps. Your expertise will cover:

❤️ Patient Experience Champion: Warmly greet all patients, manage the check-in/check-out process, and proactively ensure every individual feels comfortable, respected, and well-informed, maintaining sensitivity appropriate to a mental health setting.
️ Administrative Mastery: Efficiently schedule, confirm, and manage appointments. Act as the central hub for the office calendar, expertly handling all incoming phone calls and patient inquiries.
Financial & Billing Anchor: Accurately verify insurance eligibility, collect copays and patient payments, and process financial transactions following established protocols.
Initial Clinical Support: Take and accurately record basic patient vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, temperature, weight) directly into patient records.

Experience working specifically within a mental health, behavioral health, or psychiatric clinic.
Completion of a Medical Receptionist, Billing, or Medical Assisting Program.
Proven experience with a major EHR/EMR system (e.g., Epic, NextGen, AthenaHealth).
Direct experience with insurance verification and claims submission/follow-up.
