Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans for students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support student progress.
- Implement therapeutic interventions enabling students to participate fully in school activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and comply with school policies and regulations.
- Provide consultative services to staff regarding student needs and adaptive strategies.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Occupational Therapist License required.
- Experience working with middle school-aged children preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within school settings.
- Knowledge of school-based occupational therapy practices and regulatory requirements.
Location: Oakland, California School-based contract position.
