Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 Special Education Teacher opportunity is available for the current school year with a dynamic public education setting in Warren, MI. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities across K-12 grade levels
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment
- Utilize adaptive teaching methods and technology to effectively deliver both virtual and onsite services
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to meet individual educational goals
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience working with K-12 students with diverse learning needs
- Ability to navigate virtual teaching platforms alongside traditional classroom settings

Location: Warren, Michigan
Schedule: Contract position for the current school year, approximately through June 12, 2026
Work Arrangement: Approximately 50% virtual services and 50% in-person support
