The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payables, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with state tax regulations, among other critical accounting functions. This position requires excellent analytical skills, a thorough understanding of accounting principles, and proficiency in various accounting software, including QuickBooks, Business Central, Excel, and others such. Key Responsibilities: Accounts Payable Management:

- Process and manage payables.

- Ensure timely payment of vendor invoices and resolve payment discrepancies.
Payments:

- Prepare payments and ensure timely processing.

- Maintain accurate payment records.
Payroll Reports:

- Prepare and review payroll reports for accuracy.

- Coordinate with payroll team to ensure data accuracy.
Monthly Bank Reconciliations:

- Perform monthly bank reconciliations.

- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and accounting records.
Budget vs. Actual Analysis:

- Prepare monthly budget vs. actual reports.

- Analyze variances and provide insights into financial performance.
Financial Statement Preparation:

- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements.

- Preparing financial reports in support of financial statements

- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
State Taxes:

- Prepare and file monthly state tax reports.

- Stay updated with state tax laws and regulations.
General Ledger Maintenance:

- Maintain and update the general ledger to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Fixed Asset Management:

- Track and manage company fixed assets.

- Ensure depreciation is accounted for correctly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Business Central, Excel, SAP, and Oracle Financials.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
