Job DescriptionSalary:

PM Solutions is looking for a Business Process Reengineering (BPR) Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) SME to join our growing team. This is an on-site position in the Washington DC area and it requires that the candidate have a Bachelor's Degree and hold a secret clearance.


Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

a) Provide personnel to assist in supporting Business Process Reengineering
(BPR) efforts and promote change management tools by aligning skills to embrace and implement an agile acquisition agenda.

b) Provide consulting and business planning services to support Continuous Process Improvement (CPI)
analysis, integration, and implementation of acquisition information technology strategies and other program planning and assessment, and risk.

c) Facilitate CPI climate assessment, strategic alignment and deployment, rapid improvement events (RIEs), training (CPI familiarization, green belt facilitator training/mentoring support, suppliers/inputs/processes/outputs/customers [SIPOC] development, training plan development), and initiative management (performance alignment assessment, communication plan development, change management plan development, metrics development).

d) Use AF and industry best practices, such as AF 8-Step Problem Solving and Lean/Six Sigma to analyze business processes and improvement opportunities thoroughly and effectively and create a CPI cultural transformation that improves organizational performance through increased acceptance and accelerated implementation.

e) Analyze current and future integrated capability of business processes to support business operations at an enterprise level.

f) Utilize proven change management process(es) to ensure either BPR or CPI efforts are completed in accordance with the customer's expectations, budget, and timeline.

g) Conduct a project kickoff meeting, as applicable, with the Government Program Manager and other Government SMEs to conduct a requirements analysis and establish the project schedule, which will guide the projects progress. The COR and other Government SMEs will review and approve the requirements analysis and project schedule.

h) Produce product(s) up to two engagements and review/update biannually to the Director and Deputy Director.

i) Perform additional duties that are within scope of the tasks outlined above and below and as authorized and assigned by the COR.

Additional duties include:

a) Advise COR with concurrent strategy, policy, process, performance, and people initiatives underway within the SAF/SB-led AF SB enterprise.

b) Perform activities to synchronize and move forward SAF/SB transformation and programming activities.

c) Identify opportunities in the small business process workflow (map out the existing process), identify how the current process can be improved (identify areas of opportunity surrounding the mapped process), develop courses of action, execute improvement changes (facilitate team implementation of selected courses of action(s)/establish baseline measures), and review how changes are working for the team (analyze and track data/information). d) Accomplish task for each Process/Program/Organizational/Enterprise using facilitated BPR/CPI event(s).

e) Provide in-depth analysis of the "as-is" architecture, identifying gaps and overlaps or areas for improvement, and then provide an assessment of the "to-be" architecture directed by the analysis' intended purpose.

Candidate Requirements: Masters Degree & Secret Clearance

Conduct organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures, conduct work simplification and measurement studies, and prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively. Minimum of 10 years of experience working in BPR/CPI Services. All 10 years of experience must have occurred within the last 15 years.
