Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed for a contract position at an elementary school serving grades K-8 in Lenexa, KS. This full-semester onsite role involves working a 37.5-hour workweek, providing speech and language services to a diverse caseload of students ranging from kindergarten through eighth grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for K-8 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Deliver direct therapy services aimed at improving communication skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
- Participate in team meetings and parent conferences as required
Qualifications:
- Valid CCC certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting
- Ability to manage a K-8 caseload effectively; specific caseload size to be discussed during the interview
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to student-centered therapy and teamwork

Schedule: Full-time, onsite, 37.5 hours per week
