Contract Details:

  • Position Type: Contract
  • Contract Duration: 12 months
  • Start: ASAP
  • End: Estimated 12 months from start date
  • Shift/Hours: 2nd Shift | 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM with potential for overtime

Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting complex production equipment while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and operational standards. This role supports engineering teams, participates in process improvement efforts, and contributes to a culture of safety and efficiency in a dynamic production environment.Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe work environment and immediately address any hazardous conditions
  • Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot complex production equipment
  • Meet quality, efficiency, and safety requirements consistently
  • Interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure proper calibration of equipment
  • Utilize test equipment within operations
  • Report non-conformances and participate in root cause investigations
  • Execute routine tasks independently within trained scope
  • Participate in improvement initiatives and support engineering experimentation
  • Maintain 5S organization within assigned workspace
  • Complete all assigned training and maintain records accurately
  • Perform inventory transactions and work order processing using Oracle
  • Retrieve documentation via Oracle and Agile systems
  • Ensure accurate documentation of activities and data

Required Experience:

  • 0–1 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or related field

Nice-to-Have Experience:

  • Experience with Oracle ERP and Agile PLM systems
  • Familiarity with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) handling practices
  • Cleanroom or darkroom environment experience
  • Background in working with high-voltage electronics or radiation safety

Required Skills:

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive)
  • Ability to follow written procedures and standard operating protocols
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Team collaboration and independent work capabilities
  • Must be able to read, write, and understand English

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience using ERP systems (Oracle)
  • Experience with documentation tools (Agile)
  • Ability to read blueprints/schematics
  • Understanding of test equipment
  • Knowledge of safety and quality protocols

Additional Skills:

  • Ability to lift/move up to 40 lbs
  • Exposure to chemicals (IPA, acetone, selenium, chrome)
  • Compliance with PPE use in hazardous environments
  • Ability to work in cleanroom, darkroom, or controlled environments
  • Participation in managed daily improvement and team decision-making
