Temporary Retail Pharmacist (Day Shift) Los Alamos & Santa Fe, NM

Assignment Period: September 29 October 10
(Split between one week at the Los Alamos pharmacy and one week at the Santa Fe location)

Work Hours: Flexible start times between 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM to align with store hours.
Store Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM 6:30 PM; Saturdays, 9:00 AM 2:00 PM (Weekend rotations apply)

Pharmacy Software: Pioneer

Responsibilities Include:

• Managing pharmacy technicians and daily workflow

• Delivering top-tier customer service and patient counseling

• Verifying USP 800 Non-Sterile compounded prescriptions (verification only; compounding not required)

• Note that Los Alamos is a high-traffic pharmacy with approximately 600 prescriptions daily, whereas Santa Fe fills about 150 prescriptions daily and does not perform compounding

Requirements:

• Valid and active New Mexico Pharmacist License

• Experience with non-sterile compounding preferred but not mandatory

• Previous experience in a fast-paced pharmacy setting is a plus

• Recent graduates are welcome to apply
