Electrical Estimator
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs associated with electrical projects, ensuring that all estimates are thorough and reflect the project's requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project plans and specifications to develop accurate electrical estimates.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical installations and repairs in commercial and multifamily projects.
- Analyze labor, material, and overhead costs to provide competitive pricing.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure estimates align with project goals.
- Utilize estimating software, preferably Accubid, to generate estimates and maintain organized documentation.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
- Provide support during the bidding process and assist in negotiations with subcontractors.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an electrical estimator in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
- Experience with construction estimating, particularly in commercial and/or multifamily projects.
- Proficiency in estimating software, specifically Accubid is preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams and clients.
