Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position offers an opportunity to support students in grades 5-12 within a K-12 educational setting. The role is based onsite in Orono, ME, with a contract duration for the 2025-2026 school year, starting August 27.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in grades 5-12.
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs (IEPs).
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Eligibility or certification as a School SLP.
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly within middle and high school age groups.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to implement evidence-based therapy techniques within a school environment.
