Radiation Therapist
Location: Las Cruces, NM (On-Site)
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shifts | No Travel Required
Compensation: up to $96,000/year + Sign-On Bonus + Relocation Assistance (up to $10K)

Overview
Our client is seeking a compassionate and technically skilled Radiation Therapist to join their accredited Cancer Center in Las Cruces, NM. In this role, you will safely and accurately deliver ionizing radiation for neoplastic and other therapeutic treatments. You’ll work with a collaborative care team to deliver top-tier care and ensure a positive patient experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver therapeutic radiation treatments according to physician prescriptions and protocols

  • Accurately position patients and operate linear accelerators and CT simulators

  • Perform simulation procedures and fabricate custom immobilization devices

  • Conduct daily QA checks on radiation equipment

  • Maintain clear, accurate treatment documentation in the EMR system

  • Educate and reassure patients throughout the treatment process

  • Collaborate with physicians, physicists, and dosimetrists to ensure safe, effective care

  • Follow all radiation safety protocols and participate in on-call rotations as needed

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program

  • ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (T)

  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in New Mexico

  • CPR certification (must be current)

  • 3–5 years of clinical experience preferred

  • Strong knowledge of radiation physics, anatomy, and treatment planning

  • Ability to work both independently and within a team

Preferred Skills

  • EMR proficiency (e.g., ARIA, MOSAIQ)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Calm, compassionate demeanor under pressure
