Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A skilled MRI technologist is sought for a contract position in South Charleston, WV, providing expert imaging services in both hospital and outpatient settings. This role requires proficiency in MRI technology and offers the opportunity to work with advanced imaging equipment including GE and Siemens scanners.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine MRI exams, including specialized prostate and breast imaging
- Conduct scans on patients with pacemakers, implants, and stimulators
- Manage an average of 15-20 studies daily across three scanner rooms
- Utilize EMR (EPIC) and PACS (FUJI Synapse) systems for image management
- Start IVs as required for imaging procedures
- Adhere to rotating 8-hour shifts (either 8:00 AM4:30 PM or 10:30 AM7:00 PM), including weekends and call rotation
- Participate in department-specific orientation and follow established protocols and dress code (black scrubs, not provided)
Qualifications
- Current ARRT (MR) registration required; ARMRIT certification is also acceptable
- Minimum of 1 year MRI experience preferred
- Proficiency with GE and Siemens MRI equipment
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
