Duration: 14 Weeks
Schedule:
- 5x8 (Monday–Friday)
- Shift: Day Shift (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
- Hours: 40 hours per week
Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced RN Nurse Educator to support inpatient Maternal Child Health (MCH) services. This role focuses on providing clinical education, staff development, and competency training across Labor & Delivery, NICU, Postpartum, and Pediatric units to ensure high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver clinical education and training to nursing staff across MCH units (L&D, NICU, MBU, Pediatrics)
- Develop and implement educational programs, competency assessments, and training materials
- Promote evidence-based practices and continuous professional development
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient care outcomes
- Provide mentorship and clinical guidance to nursing staff
- Support policy implementation and ensure staff compliance with standards
- Evaluate staff performance, competencies, and learning outcomes
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, quality standards, and patient safety guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program
- Active New York State RN License (required)
- BLS Certification (AHA required)
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience (required)
- Strong clinical background (Med/Surg experience preferred)
Required Skills
- Expertise in Labor & Delivery nursing
- Experience in NICU, Postpartum, and Pediatric care (preferred)
- Strong teaching, mentoring, and communication skills
- Ability to design and deliver clinical education programs
- Knowledge of patient safety standards and quality improvement practices
