Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. This is a long-term contract position with a flexible schedule of 20-25 hours per week. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to key financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and grant management, while supporting organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed quarterly financial reports, including forecasting and analysis.
• Conduct financial assessments of cash flow and manage lines of credit.
• Manage and oversee federal grants, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Review and update fiscal policies to maintain accuracy and improve efficiency.
• Develop and review the annual budget to support organizational priorities.
• Analyze profit and loss statements to provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure sound financial planning and reporting.• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks software.
• Experience working within non-profit organizations.
• Strong background in budgeting and financial forecasting.
• Expertise in federal grant management and compliance.
• Ability to analyze financial statements and cash flow effectively.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
