Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A specialized ultrasound sonographer opportunity is available that involves working across two prestigious hospitals, providing advanced imaging services with a focus on head, neck, and general ultrasound exams.

Location:
The position is based in Brockton, MA, with assignments at two renowned medical centers in the area. Brockton offers a mix of suburban comfort and city accessibility, ideal for professionals seeking a balanced lifestyle with convenient access to major metropolitan areas.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Sunday | 8:00 AM 6:30 PM (MGH)
  • Monday | 7:00 AM 5:30 PM (MEE)
  • Thursday | 7:00 AM 5:30 PM (MEE)
  • Saturday | 8:00 AM 6:30 PM (MGH)

Responsibilities:

  • Perform ultrasound imaging primarily on head and neck exams at one hospital, adhering to detailed protocols.
  • Assist with ultrasound-guided procedures, including biopsies and possible OR guidance.
  • Conduct general ultrasound exams including transplanted liver and kidney, DVT (upper and lower extremities), and routine assessments at the second hospital.
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists to ensure accurate and effective imaging.
  • Utilize advanced ultrasound equipment (Philips Epiq Elite and GE Logiq 10s) proficiently.
  • Pediatric ultrasound experience is an advantage for handling specialized cases.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Proven ultrasound sonographer skills with a focus on general and head & neck imaging.
  • Experience with ultrasound-guided invasive procedures preferred.
  • Ability to work across multiple settings with adaptability and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with radiology teams.
  • Pediatric ultrasound skills are a plus.
