Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant (MA) to support both front-office and back-office operations in an outpatient clinic setting. This role includes patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling, clinical support, and assisting providers with patient care activities.

Schedule

• Day Shift
• No weekends required

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Medical Assistant Diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program
• BLS Certification (AHA or ARC only)

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of outpatient clinic experience
• Epic experience required
• Front office experience required (Hard Stop)
• Patient check-in experience required (Hard Stop)
• Insurance verification experience required (Hard Stop)

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients for appointments
• Verify insurance eligibility and demographic information
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
• Room patients and obtain vital signs
• Assist providers with clinical procedures and patient care activities
• Document patient information accurately in Epic
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment
• Float between clinic areas as needed to support operational needs
