Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time Special Education teaching opportunity in Aston, PA, spans the current school year from ASAP through June and includes two positions: one at the middle school level and one at the high school level. Serving K-12 students, these resource roles will provide essential support to students with special needs in diverse educational settings.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Pennsylvania Special Education (SPED) teaching license required
- Experience working with K-12 students in special education resource settings
- Strong knowledge of individualized education programs (IEPs) and special education best practices
- Ability to design and implement instructional strategies tailored to meet varied student learning needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, parents, and administrators
Location:
Positions are based in Aston, PA, with assignments in one middle school and one high school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities in resource classroom environments
- Develop, monitor, and adjust individualized education plans (IEPs) to ensure student progress
