Position Framework
Working 35-37.5 hours weekly, you'll support a caseload of approximately 45-55 students across various grade levels through virtual platforms. This remote role enables you to provide specialized psychological services while maintaining professional standards and building strong therapeutic relationships with students, families, and educational teams.
Essential Duties
- Execute prehensive virtual psychological assessments
- Analyze assessment results and create detailed evaluation reports
- Develop evidence-based treatment plans aligned with educational objectives
- Provide individual and group counseling through secure virtual platforms
- Document student progress and modify interventions based on data analysis
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance student outes
- Participate in virtual IEP development and review processes
- Educate families on mental health concerns and behavioral strategies
- Ensure pliance with psychological practice standards and regulations
Professional Requirements
- Master's degree in School Psychology
- Valid New Mexico school psychologist license
- Minimum 2 years experience in educational settings
- Proficiency with virtual assessment technologies and digital platforms
- Strong clinical skills in psychological evaluation and intervention
- Knowledge of multicultural considerations and diverse populations
- Adequate technology infrastructure for remote service delivery
Student Services
You'll serve students with various psychological and educational needs including cognitive impairments, emotional disturbances, behavioral disorders, and social-emotional challenges. Our virtual model reaches students in diverse munities, ensuring access to specialized psychological services for those with learning disabilities, anxiety disorders, and other conditions affecting mental health and academic performance.
