Position Summary:
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for preparing and reviewing income tax returns, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting clients with tax planning and compliance. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts

Assist with bookkeeping, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements

Conduct research on current tax regulations and apply findings to client situations

Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide responsive support

Collaborate with senior accountants and managers on complex tax and accounting matters
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (CPA or CPA candidate preferred)

Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax preparation

Proficiency with tax preparation software (e.g., UltraTax, Lacerte, or Drake) and QuickBooks

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
