An opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to support students within a K-12 educational setting in Glendale, AZ. This role is essential in providing therapeutic services that promote the educational and developmental needs of students from 4th to 12th grade.
Qualifications:
- Masters level degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid Arizona Occupational Therapy License
- Arizona IVP Fingerprint Card
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other specialists
Location: Glendale, AZ
Responsibilities:
- Assess student needs and develop individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct occupational therapy services in accordance with IEPs
- Collaborate with school staff to facilitate student participation in classroom activities
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as required
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy services
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to holistic student support
