Role Description

This is an on-site contract role for an Occupational Therapist based in Westchester County, NY. The Occupational Therapist will provide therapy services to pediatric clients, focusing on physical, sensory, and cognitive challenges to help them achieve developmental milestones. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing individualized therapy plans, implementing treatment strategies, and monitoring progress. The role involves collaborating with families and other professionals to ensure effective care and support for children.
 
Qualifications

<ul>
<li>Expertise in Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation, and related therapeutic practices</li>
<li>Strong foundation in Pediatrics and understanding of childhood developmental stages</li>
<li>Effective Communication skills to interact with children, families, and other professionals</li>
<li>Knowledge of current practices in Medicine as they apply to occupational therapy</li>
<li>Compassion and patience to support children in achieving developmental goals</li>
<li>OTR or COTA needed</li>
<li>Prior experience in pediatric occupational therapy is preferred</li>
