<p><strong>Qualifications and responsibilities: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Must possess a valid Missouri Professional Teacher and/or Missouri Substitute Teacher Certificate from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). You can apply for the substitute certificate through the DESE Website at dese.mo.gov. (Exception: If you are a teacher certified in the state of Missouri you do not need a substitute certificate)</li>
<li>Background/Fingerprint check is required.</li>
<li>Great organizational skills</li>
<li>Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)</li>
<li>Flexibility and ability to work as a team with other teachers</li>
<li>Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to the changing needs of students, teachers, parents, and school staff.</li>

<li>Maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment</li>
<li>Developing and maintaining positive student, teacher, staff and parent relationships</li>

<li>Leading and facilitating lessons plans and activities for students</li>
<li>Encouraging and modeling positive and appropriate classroom behavior</li>
<li>Maintaining a positive attitude and safe welcoming classroom environment</li>
