Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Stamford, Connecticut. This Contract to permanent position offers an opportunity to contribute to essential financial operations and processes. The ideal candidate will excel in QuickBooks, demonstrate strong bookkeeping expertise, and have a solid understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
• Utilize QuickBooks Desktop and potentially assist in transitioning to QuickBooks Online.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice management and payment tracking.
• Perform bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
• Support the financial closing process by preparing reports and balancing accounts.
• Collaborate with the order entry team to integrate bookkeeping efforts with operational workflows.
• Monitor and maintain financial data integrity across all systems.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records to ensure accuracy.
• Provide insights and recommendations for improving financial processes.• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop, with familiarity in transitioning to QuickBooks Online being a plus.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Ability to perform bank reconciliations with precision and efficiency.
• Experience in financial closing procedures and reporting.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on accuracy.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working across teams.
