Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity offers Speech Language Pathologists (CCC) the chance to work with a diverse caseload, supporting students from PreK through 12th grade. Assignments will involve traveling between multiple sites within the district, with specifics determined prior to the start date.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active Florida Department of Health SLP Licensure required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
  • Experience working in school settings with mild to moderate communication disorders preferred.
  • Availability for a contract spanning the full school year (August through May).
  • Must be able to complete or verify school district fingerprinting requirements through the AHCA Clearinghouse and obtain the appropriate JLA badge.
  • Adaptability for itinerant assignments across varying grade levels and locations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services and collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Document progress and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Educate and empower staff and families regarding best practices for supporting communication development.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and help develop measurable goals for student success.
