Summary/Objective

This position supports the VP of Marketing & Communications in developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives across all business lines, media relations, community outreach, external communications and new customer campaigns focused on driving measurable results and delivering brand awareness to both current and prospective customers. Key responsibilities include hands-on project management, email marketing and social media support, and serving as an enthusiastic brand ambassador at events. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable managing competing priorities independently.
Essential Functions

- Manage vendor communication for branded apparel and promotional merchandise.
- Coordinate, create, and order materials for community events and branch outreach.
- Set up and tear down booths and displays at internal and external events, often independently.
- Track and manage marketing inventory, including lifting and organizing heavy boxes of printed materials and promotional items stored at the Marketing Barn.
- Maintain inventory and prepare event kits and materials in advance to ensure smooth execution.
- Support the scheduling and execution of financial literacy events and programs.
- Assist with social media content scheduling and email marketing platforms.
- Organize campaigns, giveaways, and contests to engage and reward customers and top prospects.
- Collect and manage community event data and assist with timely follow-ups.
- Help plan and support local and regional events, including logistics and volunteer coordination.
- Promote scholarship and award programs across all entities.
- Work closely with team members and clients to collect testimonials and community stories.
- Represent the company positively across all markets served.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This role is primarily office-based but will also involve travel to local events and working in storage areas (Marketing Barn). Regular use of computers, printers, and other office equipment is required.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. This role requires the ability to lift and move event kits, boxes of print materials, and promotional items, along with 6ft. and 8ft. tables and other items required for events—up to 30 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Full-time, with core hours between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work is expected, especially during peak community engagement seasons.
Travel
Primarily local, with occasional regional travel and possible overnight stays.
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to Quickly Learn New Software
- Valid Driver’s License
Preferred Education and Experience
- Associate’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 1+ Year in Marketing, Outreach, Community Event Planning, and Project Management
- Experience with Email Marketing Platforms and/or Social Media Tools
