We are currently searching for a Parts Warehouse Specialist who has a high level of integrity, is hardworking and motivated to join our team.
Position Summary
Position: Parts Warehouse
Classification : Full Time; Non-Exempt
Reports To: Service Manager
Work Location: In person; Baytown, TX
Essential Duties include but are not limited to:
- Stay up to date and knowledgeable of Chrysler products, services, and inventory
- Manage the inventory and storage of Chrysler parts and accessories.
- Receive, inspect, and store new parts and inventory.
- Assist in preparing and shipping parts to service departments or customers.
- Ensure accurate stock counts and keep the inventory management system updated.
- Organize and maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
- Perform cycle counts and assist in regular inventory audits.
- Process returns and restocks as needed.
- Assist the parts department in fulfilling customer orders and requests.
- Ensure that all parts and accessories are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Work in collaboration with the service and sales teams to support Kia vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Other Duties May be assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Able to work individually as well as part of a team.
Relevant Work Experience & Other Requirements:
- Must meet dealerships requirements for employment which include background check and drug screening
- Previous experience in warehouse or inventory management is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of Chrysler parts and vehicle systems is a plus but not required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable based on driving record.
- Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age
- Must be punctual and reliable.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit, stand, and/ or walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.).
