Accounting Associate
Our client is expanding and in need of an accountant who has 5-7 years of hands-on accounting experience. All of their clients are law firms.
Independently supports many different accounting share services for accounting clients: processes may include accounts payable/receivable/billing. Reconciles accounts to include cash accounts; analyzes financial statements and processes journal entries affecting financial statement segments / multiple clients/firms that the role/position is responsible for. Takes appropriate follow-up action to resolve any identified discrepancies in the accounting processes/system and general ledger accounts. Presents clear, organized and concise reports of findings, open items regarding variations in supporting processes, reconciliations, journal entries and account balances to internal Managers.
Works with management to handle various processes including; developing efficient methods of preparing analyses, journal entries include cash, payroll distributions) estimate calculations, closing procedures, reconciliations and other processes. This is a growing client that is expanding and needs your help.
This position is in an office every day and the hours are 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
