LTC Closed Door Pharmacist Compensation
- Pay Rate: $64.27 per hour
- Benefits available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- 401(k) with company match available to full-time employees after 1 year of service
LTC Closed Door Pharmacist Highlights
- Location: Fridley, MN (100% Onsite)
- Contract Position: 03/02/2026 – 05/29/2026
- Full-Time | 40+ hours per week
- Overtime not required but may be offered occasionally
Shift Options:
- Monday–Friday:

- 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- 11:00 AM – 8:30 PM
- Saturday–Sunday:

- 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
LTC Closed Door Pharmacist Responsibilities
- Accept and dispense prescription medications accurately and safely in a long-term care setting
- Monitor patient medication compliance and identify over-usage patterns
- Ensure prescriptions are appropriate and compliant with legal requirements
- Maintain confidential patient records and pharmacy documentation
- Provide consultation on prescription and non-prescription medications including dosage, storage, side effects, and interactions
- Compound medications for internal and external use
- Prepare sterile solutions following proper procedures
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and pharmacy clerks
- Maintain appropriate pharmaceutical and medical supply inventory
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to resolve drug-related issues
LTC Closed Door Pharmacist Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required
- Current license from the State Board of Pharmacy
- Ability to work fully onsite in Fridley, MN
- Mandatory attendance during the first 90 days
Preferred Qualifications:
- IV experience (intravenous medication preparation and sterile compounding experience is a plus)
