Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Opportunities are available for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide both in-person and virtual services within a school setting in Natchitoches, LA. Positions offer a mix of full-time and part-time engagements with options for contract-to-hire arrangements. Services support reasonable caseloads, with paraprofessional assistance provided, typically focused in a single building to ensure continuity and effectiveness.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred for SLPs
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcomed
- Experience or interest in teletherapy and telespeech services
- Background working in school environments beneficial
- Ability to manage caseloads efficiently with paraprofessional collaboration
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology evaluation, intervention, and progress monitoring tailored to student needs
- Provide both virtual and in-person therapy sessions based on scheduling and student requirements
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop individualized educational plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation, session notes, and compliance with regulatory standards
- Adapt therapy approaches to accommodate diverse learning environments and technologies
