Job Summary
Crowne Tax & Accounting is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Staff Accountant to join our team. This position supports daily accounting operations including financial recordkeeping, payroll processing, financial reporting, and tax preparation support using QuickBooks.
This role is ideal for someone with accounting experience who enjoys working with financial data in a professional office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain financial records, journal entries, and general ledger accounts
- Record financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records in QuickBooks
- Assist with payroll processing and payroll documentation
- Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts
- Support preparation of financial statements and financial reports
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance documentation
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation
- Provide general administrative support including filing, email communication, and answering phones
- Collaborate with the accounting team to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or accounting clerk roles
- Proficiency with QuickBooks or other accounting software
- Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledge of tax preparation or tax regulations is a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
