Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
\n\nResponsibilities\n

- Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients with a focus on trauma, cardiac, and respiratory conditions.
- Effectively titrate drips and handle cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation as per facility protocols.
- Interpret and document telemetry strips and ensure proper patient monitoring.
- Collaborate with respiratory therapists and assist with vent, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen as needed.
- Float to PCU and occasionally MedSurg, maintaining appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios.
- Participate in open-book examinations on skills and adhere to orientation requirements for successful assignment completion.

\n\nQualifications\n

- Current RN license to practice in the state of California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred.
- BSN required with a minimum of one shift of unit-specific orientation.
- Experience in acute care settings, specifically in Level 2 Trauma facilities.
- Strong understanding of EPIC charting systems and ability to comply with documentation requirements.
