Title of Position: Director of Operations


Compensation: Competitive annual salary around $150,000, commensurate with experience, along with performance-based bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits package.


Job Description:


The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of multiple high-volume restaurant operations. The Director of Operations will work closely with executive leadership to ensure strong financial performance, consistent service standards, operational accountability, and continued business growth. The Director of Operations will manage budgets, P&Ls, financial reporting, labor controls, and overall profitability while developing and implementing operational strategies that improve guest experience, employee satisfaction, and overall business performance. The Director of Operations will lead, mentor, and develop restaurant management teams while fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. The Director of Operations will ensure consistent execution of food quality, service standards, cleanliness, safety, and operational procedures. This individual will also contribute to strategic planning, identify opportunities to improve revenue and control costs, and support the long-term vision of the organization.

Qualifications:

· The Director of Operations should have proven experience in a senior food and beverage, hospitality, or multi-unit operations leadership role

· The Director of Operations should have experience overseeing high-volume, full-service, upscale, or hotel-based food and beverage operations

· The Director of Operations must have strong financial acumen with demonstrated experience managing budgets, P&Ls, labor, cost controls, and revenue growth

· The Director of Operations must be able to manage and motivate others while acting as a role model

· The Director of Operations must have a hands-on leadership style and the ability to inspire, coach, and develop diverse teams

· The Director of Operations must have excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills

· The Director of Operations must be comfortable working closely with senior leadership in a highly visible role

· Trust, honesty, integrity, and a passion for guest satisfaction are requirements for the Director of Operations

· The Director of Operations must currently be located in Maui or be able to relocate to Maui
