Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Clinton Township, MI. This contract assignment spans from September 15, 2025, through June 13, 2026, supporting a K-12 public school environment with an emphasis on providing psychological services across two elementary schools and a portion of a middle school.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations for students to identify educational and emotional needs.
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and staff to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention plans.
- Providing crisis intervention and counseling to support student well-being.
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Offering recommendations that promote academic success and positive behavior interventions.
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Masters Degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid State Licensure to practice as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with diverse K-12 student populations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, families, and school personnel.
- Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and prioritize tasks within a school setting.
