A Registered Nurse with medical-surgical (RN-MS) expertise is needed for a contract position in Ankeny, IA, providing skilled nursing care during the evening and overnight shifts. This role requires dedication to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Schedule:
- 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM shifts
- Every other weekend
- Every other holiday
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients following established protocols and individualized care plans
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform necessary treatments
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and communicate changes in patient status
- Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with healthcare standards
- Respond promptly and effectively to patient needs and emergencies
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current and valid RN license with medical-surgical nursing experience
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
