Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist I to support our client’s medical facility, which is based in Wellford, SC, 29385
This is a Contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Location: Wellford, SC, 29385
Schedule: Hours are Monday-Thursday, 8 am-3 pm (24 hours/week)
Pay Range: $17.74- $19.74 (Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.) The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume
Job Requirements:
- Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
- Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection using aseptic techniques.
- Process and label specimens accurately for laboratory analysis.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and specimen collection.
- Monitor and record vital signs as required.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 6 months of experience.
- One (+) year of phlebotomy experience is preferred.
- Customer service in a retail or service environment is preferred.
- Keyboard/data entry experience is a must.
