Soliant Health is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to take on a full-time leadership role with a specialty pharmacy just outside the Sacramento, CA area. This is a great opportunity for an experienced pharmacist who thrives in a collaborative setting, brings strong operational and clinical expertise, and is passionate about managing a small but impactful team.
Position Overview:

• Location: Greater Sacramento area
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Start Date: ASAP temporary coverage for a leave of absence; duration is open-ended
• Setting: Specialty Pharmacy
• Daily Rx Volume: Approx. 13 prescriptions/day
• Order Entry System: CareTend (training available)

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and oversee daily pharmacy operations and workflow
• Verify prescriptions and provide clinical oversight
• Manage inventory and wholesaler invoices
• Supervise, guide, and support two pharmacy technicians
• municate regularly with the Director of Operations
• Ensure pliance with all state and federal regulations
• Provide clinical onboarding and patient counseling as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Active California Pharmacist license in good standing
• At least 2 years of experience managing pharmacy operations, including inventory and staff supervision
• Prior experience in a specialty pharmacy setting (oncology, rheumatology)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general pharmacy management systems
• Strong munication and leadership skills
• Experience using CareTend or similar pharmacy software is a plus
